year 8 EOTC

 Last week it was our EOTC week. On Monday room 13 and 14 went on a bike ride to fort n feld. When I got to school I said I did not have a bike so Miss Tayler went to go get a bike I could use for the day. I was thinking in my head that I can't bike all the way to fort n feld because I haven't bike in a year but when we started biking and as soon as we got on the bike track out Weston I had to stop like 10 times because my legs were very sore. As soon as we got to fort n feld we sat down at had some lunch and we all got some chips for free and we had to eat our own lunch too. On our way back I was at the back of everyone but I had friends with me tho but before we got half way my friend Chloe felt dizzy and sick so she had to sit down so I helped her until a teacher came and she got up and went in the van. I was at half way and Miss Tayler and Levis dad was helping me to bike all the way to the end with out stopping. Miss Tayler said if I ride all the way to school with out stopping that means I get three lollies and I bike all the way there with out stopping and I was so proud of myself at the end but I was really tired and I had to scooter home as well as soon as I got home I almost went to sleep. IT WAS HOT AT THE END!!!

100 word challenge

Gradually, things started to move. People were walking around the school. There were kids everywhere going out to do P.E with their class room and there were some people going to get changed out of their P.E gear. Then everyone was going to lunch and I was going to my basketball meeting in the hall, there was a fight outside room 12. The people that was fighting outside room 12 were fighting over someone's lunch because someone had something yummy in their lunch and everyone was fighting over it. Who know that people would be fighting over chocolate?

Week six 100 Word Challenge

 Once upon a time I was in a boat going across the river and about halfway through the river I saw a polar bear just standing on one little piece of ice so I thought to myself that I should go and save the polar bear so I did. I put him in a place where he can look for some food. About the next day I went across a different river and I saw another polar bear so I said to myself I might go back to where I put the other polar bear. The owners were very happy.

Week two 100 word challenge

When I went horse riding in the holidays before we went outside to get the horse geared up we were watching something on the tv because it was cold outside. After we wait for it to warm up then we let all the dogs out of the room and the big brown dog can right up two me and these other three girls.  The big dog rubbed this bum on the chair then the crowd erupted with laughter because it was so funny. At the horse riding camp there were 10 people. When we got there we said our name.

100 word challenge

Once upon a time there was a show on at our school. As soon as I got there they said it would be starting  in 5 minutes, but there were still people coming in so they started in an hour and I was like if this did not start I will leave. After I said I was going to leave then it finally began to start as we all had to be quick so other people could hear as well. It was a very good show. I got to go up and help one of the people with their show.

Term 2 reflection

1. I think I am proud of my maths because I am getting move answers right and I can do some by myself instead of the teacher helping me all of the time.

2. I have been IDEAL by not talking when the teacher is talking. This show dare to succeed.

When I am in a group woking with them I help by telling them what to write down and help people in the classroom. This show act with respect.

I act with respect by if someone is upset or something I care about them or if someone is alone I invite them to hangout with me and my friends. This show act with respect.

3. I help hand out books. If I did not make a mess I still help to clean it up because I like helping people.  I help pick up everyone thinking sticks if we use them for anything.

4. My goal for the rest of the year is my reading, maths and writing so I can get better so next year I will be better at these things.

5. In the holidays I am looking forward to see my sister because she is coming down from Auckland down to oamaru so she can have a holiday with us because we have not seen her for like a year or something so we are going to do lots of fun things with her when she comes down to see us.

100 Word Weekly Challenge

Every second year for christmas I go to my real mums house for christmas because I live with a stepmum so we have turns. As I walked in the door I saw the Christmas tree and the presents under it. My mum gave me a present and then I saw it because there was a hole in the wrapping paper. In my present I got clothes and after that present I got even more presents because we all got like 5 presents each. After me my mum, step dad and my sister finished opening the presents we had lunch, YUM!

Once upon a time in a faraway land there was an elephant and a panda, they stayed in an animal hotel. But  the elephant was terrified. Then the next morning the elephant had to tell her speech. She was nervous about presenting it. The panda told the elephant it’s ok to feel nervous. Then the elephant delivered her speech. The panda got off his chair and started clapping and saying woo hoo. Well done Sally the elephant. The elephant said thank you. After the speech they went home and Sally felt proud of herself for presenting her speech to everyone.

On a warm sunny day there was a beautiful young girl. She wears a pretty gold dress. She went on stage to perform. She wanted to show off her viola but it wasn’t under her bed she searched everywhere for her viola but it was lost. She couldn’t perform her skills. Ten years later she still could not find her viola. Everyone said that violas are ancient but she did not care at all. She kept looking everywhere. She was so upset  because she couldn’t find her viola. She told her parents and they didn’t care she cried all night.

Manaia and the dog

Once upon a time Manaia went for a walk on a very freezing afternoon down to the river.
She enjoys that part of the countryside on her land. The  river had lots of stones in it and
from the river you could see the mountains with snow on them. When she arrived at the
river she found a dog that was lost. The dog was so pleased to see her. After playing with
the dog Manaia decided to go home then the dog started to follow her home. When she
got home she found the owner of the dog.

                                                           My avatar looks like me because I have blond hair and I have a phone. My Auntie has a cat and I like to play with lots of animals. The reason why I look animals? I look animals because last holidays I went to the SPCA everyday because they have so cute little kittens and cats because they are so soft and they a playful and they just have a cute little face. That is way I love cats so much.

Every holidays we mostly go shopping but before I moved down to Oamaru I live up in a small town called Morrinsville and when we lived up there we went shopping in Hamilton and we got very good things from there I really miss Hamilton because they have very
                                                                                                    good shops but now I live in oamaru                                                                                                          now so we have been to Dunedin
                                                                                                        lots of times so that's way next
                                                                                                       holidays we are going to Timaru for a                                                                                                         shop because we have not really
                                                                                                       been to Timaru to have a look at the
                                                                                                       shops but I think we have been just
                                                                                                       past Timaru before and that is it so
                                                                                                        that is way next holiday we are
                                                                                                        haveing a big shop there because
                                                                                                       every year we have our big shopping
                                                                                                       day and me and my sister get to look
                                                                                                       at the shops by our self and we could
                                                                                                       bye what every we wanted and it is
                                                                                                       lots of fun.

Why I like these animals because...

                           

Why these where my favourite cats because the black and white one was so friendly. The black and white one  come from the wild so that's why it was so scared of people but then it started to get friendly to me because  everyday I went down to the SPCA and we to give all of the kittens a cuddle because everyday they have to be stuck in their cages so that's why me and my sister we to go and play with the kittens. The second kitten was a new born and it was still on bottle feed but then like 5 or so days after the kitten died because it was really sick. We hope it would of got better but it did not. These were my favourite kittens but I like other ones too

swimming storts:

As soon as i wake up I was like oh my god it is swimming storts because i was so nervous because I do not like swimming in front of people. When I was sitting on the stand I was cold because I was in the fun race because I am not a good swim so I was really cold just sitting on the stands. When I was sitting on the stands I was cheering people on in my house color and we can third in swimming sports. As I got home I was so tired after the long day because everyone was cheering and it was so lord that's why I was tired when I got home when I went to sleep then it was the morning I did not want to wake up because I was having a good sleep and I did not want to wake up the next day but I had to.
